My baking passion was born about 20 years ago, when I baked my first all-time favourite cake in my parents’ ill-equipped kitchen -- it was chocolate, of course!

But my early career path curved towards the study of law, and so my parents saw no need to support such baking endeavours. The legal world was fascinating, but as it turns out, baking is my true vocation; so in 2003, I said goodbye to legal wrangling and embraced the delicious dream, supported as always by my loving husband, Sanjay. The result was Simply Divine Cakes, my first online home baking business.

Seven years later, I have gained invaluable experience and refined countless recipes, and with a new business partner, I would like to continue spreading the love through Chilli Rush, our new company, and a one-stop avenue for all your cake and cookies needs.

Our menu is handcrafted to please every palate - whether it’s the rich simplicity of a moist chocolate cake that you’re in love with, or the rich decadence of a white chocolate cheesecake. 

Simply Divine cakes are expressions of love, from us to you, from you to your loved ones -- and so should not be tainted with preservatives or artificial flavouring. I use only the best-quality cheeses, chocolate and fresh fruits in Simply Divine cakes and cookies.
